[You'll soon find that very little here is as simple as that.]

[Edgeworth stares up at the big ol' whale, which also hasn't moved from where it is.]

It isn't fazed by your threat.

[Edgeworth makes sure to give her a wide berth as she begins whipping the whale with all she's got, quickly stepping away from whip range.

He is also not going to interfere. La la la.]
prosecutory: (♘ it was a wicked and wild wind)

Franziska!

[No need to tell him twice, he's already on his way. He bounds toward her and wraps his arms around her waist. Edgeworth digs his feet into the ground as he tries to pull her back.]

Let your whip go! [As if she would. So, saying that was probably useless.

He glares at the whale as if the power of his glare would be enough to intimidate it.]
prosecutory: (I forgot how to tie my shoes.)

Nrrrgh...!

[After today I won't ever take off my sword, whether I'm in the shower or in my bed!]

[Edgeworth DOES stand his ground, amazingly so. All that time that went into training has paid off, and he has enough strength to ensure that Franziska remains on the ground. It also helps that his sister is stubborn as a mule especially when it comes to her whip, except for That One Time.

He skids slightly forward but that only makes him plant his heels more firmly.]
prosecutory: (♖ I'm criticized)

[And Edgeworth twists, trying to avoid her punch. When Franziska goes flying, so does he, albeit at a shorter distance; she may or may not have landed on top of him. Either way...]

Oof! [He groans, rubbing his head.] It's no longer interested in us, apparently.
prosecutory: (Horseradish is not an instrument either.)

[Perhaps now he'll have a better chance of evading the violence. Or so he hopes. Edgeworth gets back onto his feet and offers a hand for Franziska if she hasn't stood up yet.]

I had to hold on tightly, or else the whale would pull you into its mouth!
prosecutory: I'm tired of lyric keywords blargh (We're like brothers...only closer.)

[personal profile] prosecutory 2016-06-03 09:55 am (UTC)(link)
[He just stares at her. It's terrible logic, but who ever said ViViD was logical? Perhaps that was how they could get out and back into the real world.]

You believe that since this place is improbable as it is, an exit could be concealed in the least likely location?
prosecutory: (♘ and I discovered that)

[personal profile] prosecutory 2016-06-04 11:05 am (UTC)(link)
It's...worth a try.

[He nods slowly, not believing what he's going to say next but believing how illogical ViViD is.]

Because you would be right. Nothing doesn't make sense here.
prosecutory: (♘ I can't explain; I know)

[personal profile] prosecutory 2016-06-06 01:26 pm (UTC)(link)
I can't believe I'm saying this, but...yes. Whip it again.

[Surprisingly, this time violence just might be the answer!]

[Edgeworth once again keeps his distance and winces for the whale's sake, but he doesn't stop her. Even if she heads straight for "three" without going through one and two.

He waits to see what happens. Edgeworth, this isn't logic chess.]
prosecutory: (♙ was in vain; and all)

[personal profile] prosecutory 2016-06-09 01:53 pm (UTC)(link)
[You don't even need to give him ten minutes. After just five minutes of lingering, he shakes his head, groans, and throws up his hands before hurling himself into the whale still gaping stupidly at him.

Instead of falling into a gross whale tummy - which he really shouldn't have expected anyway - he plunges straight into the pond in the park and suddenly he's weighed down by his regular clothes appearing yet again. Flailing, he straightens up, gasping and spluttering, and looks around for Franziska.

He doesn't even notice that they're back in the real world. THAT'S HOW IMPORTANT YOU ARE TO HIM, OKAY, FRANZY.]
prosecutory: (♘ next the walls were closed on me)

Ouch! [After that slap of the whip on him, he clambers out of the pond.] We're in Cerealia, on the planet Tellus. What we were previously in was a virtual reality.

...And yes, I'm aware truth is much stranger than fiction. [Said in a tone so dry that it puts the Sahara to shame.]
